Mental health/substance abuse educational pamphlets, 1963-[1970?] [state publication].

These pamphlets were written to educate the public about drug abuse. Included are "Do's and Don'ts for the Wives of Alcoholics," "Alcoholism: Cunning, Baffling, Powerful", "Alcoholism Is A Disease," "Alcoholics Are God's Children, Too" (for clergymen), "A Question of Drugs: A Guide for Parents.", and others. Although the Department distributes the pamphlets, some were written by other sources, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, the N.C. Alcoholic Rehabilitation Program, and the Chairman of the Committee on Alcoholism of the American Medical Association.
